TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE GOOGY VILLAS ARUBA

 

General Information – Our check-in time is 4 pm and check out is at 11 am (local Aruban time).

Payment Terms – If your check-in date is more than 30 days away, you have a down payment of 50% of the total amount, paid within 5 days after your booking. If we do not receive a down payment within 5 days after booking, your reservation is subject to cancelation. Final payment is due no later than 30 days before your check-in date. If your check-in date is less than 30 days away, the entire reservation cost is due within 5 days after booking. If we do not receive your payment within 5 days after booking, your reservation is subject to cancelation.
Payments can be made through bank transfer to IBAN number NL19 BUNQ 2035 3742 94 on the name of K.R. van Nie, Bommelsedijk 7, 3258 LA Den Bommel (The Netherlands), bank BIC/SWIFT code: BUNQNL2A (free of charge). By PayPal or credit card (with an extra 5.5% commission).

Number of Guests – Children age 2 and up count as occupants and extra person fees may apply. Do not include children under age 2 when making your reservation, but let us know by e-mail. We can provide a crib at an extra fee of $30.00 per stay. Please keep in mind that each property has a maximum occupancy of 6 persons that cannot be exceeded.

Pets – Only pet dogs are allowed in our villas. There is a fee of $50.00 per- dog per- stay. The maximum number of pets allowed is 2. Pet owners must pick up droppings, keep pet leashed when outside and keep pets off of furniture and bedding. The pet must also be kenneled if left alone in the home. If we find that you have left a pet alone in the home unkenneled, there will be a $250 fine charged. If you have an ADA service animal please let us know right away.

Cancellation – If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us right away. You get a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours after booking, if the check-in date is at least 30 days away. You get a 50% refund for cancellations made at least 30 days before check-in. There are no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in. In case of a refund, your money will be refunded to you in the same form it was received.

Change dates – If you need to change your dates to later dates, please contact us right away. We will charge a 50% changing fee if the changing date is within 30 days of the original check-in date. If the changing date is more than 30 days of the original check-in date, we charge a changing fee of $150.00.

Change of guests/pets – If you reduce your number of guests or remove pets from your reservation more than 30 days before check-in, thereby reducing an extra person fees or removing the pet fee, we will provide a refund for these fees upon request. A processing fee of $5.00 or 10% of the refund, whichever is greater, will be deducted from the refund. For changes made within 30 days before check-in there will be no refunds.

Housekeeping – Our villas are furnished with bed, bath, and kitchen linens. Basic household products such as trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper will be provided. The villas are cleaned and inspected upon your check-in and after check-out only. If you wish to have extra housekeeping services during your stay, please contact us for availability. You can have your bed linens and/or towels changed at a price of $35.00, or a more extensive cleaning of the villa at $75.00. If you’re missing something during your stay, please contact us and we will do everything in our power to help you out.

Furniture – Please do not rearrange furniture or other items at the home. If you do move an item or piece of furniture, please return to its original location upon check-out. Our housekeeper works by herself and is unable to move couches, mattresses, etc. back to their original location.

Parties and noise – Our villas are in a neighborhood that have fulltime residents so please be courteous with parking, outside activities, lights, and noise. Parties held in or around the villas are prohibited at any time. Any guests abusing this policy will be charged an additional $250.00 to the rental fee.

Smoking – There is no smoking allowed in our villas. If you smoke outside please do so at the appropriate distance from the home and dispose of your cigarette materials appropriately. If anyone smokes inside the home you will be subject to a minimum $250.00 cleaning fee.

Unforeseen circumstances – Even the best-made plans can hit a snag and renting a vacation home is no different. If the villa you rented becomes unavailable due to plumbing, electrical or heating issues, roof damage or anything else beyond our control that makes it uninhabitable, we will try to move you to our other villa. If there is no availability, we will give you a refund.

At departure – Please do not strip or make the beds or start any laundry. All that is required is that you load the dishwasher, take out all of the garbage and leave the house reasonably clean and in order.

Lost items – When departing, please check for personal items. Left items that are found can be returned upon request, with a fee for retrieval, processing, and shipping.  Unclaimed items will be disposed of 30 days after a guest’s departure date.

Security deposit – On arrival you will be charged a $400.00 security deposit to your credit card, or paid in cash. Our guests are responsible for any damages or theft made to our villas during their stay. Such things as abuse, damage above normal wear and tear, garbage left at home, pet damage, theft, abnormal use of water and electricity and extra cleaning costs may be deducted from your security deposit on check-out.
